# Supersmooth: Self-Custodial DeFi Position Management

Supersmooth is a self-custodial DeFi position management platform. Supersmooth lets you earn, borrow, multiply, and trade across leading lending protocols from a single interface without giving up custody of your assets. Positions are held in Safe smart accounts owned solely by your connected wallet. Supersmooth is a non-custodial software provider: it never holds user funds, has no admin access to user accounts, and cannot move, freeze, or recover user assets.

Supersmooth compresses multi-step DeFi strategies into single transactions. Opening a multiplied position normally requires a flashloan, a swap, a deposit, and a borrow across multiple protocol frontends. Supersmooth executes that sequence atomically in one transaction through a smart account you own.

## Core principles

1. **Self-custodial.** Supersmooth positions are held in Safe smart accounts that you own and control. Supersmooth is a non-custodial software provider. It never holds user funds, has no admin access to user accounts, and cannot move, freeze, or recover user assets.
2. **One transaction.** Supersmooth executes multi-step strategies atomically. Opening a multiplied position involves a flashloan, a swap, a deposit, and a borrow, all in one transaction.
3. **Protocol-neutral.** Supersmooth aggregates markets across protocols and networks so you can compare rates, liquidity, and risk designs side by side, and refinance between them when a better market exists.
4. **Capital Protection.** Supersmooth Automations (Stop Loss, Trailing Stop Loss, Auto Sell, and Auto Take Profit) defend positions around the clock. Keepers execute automations, but smart contracts validate them onchain against exactly the parameters you signed.
