Supersmooth Refinance moves an open position to a different protocol, a different debt asset, or a different LTV in one transaction, without closing exposure and without rebuilding the position by hand. Rates diverge across venues constantly, so the market you opened in six months ago is rarely still the best one. As an illustration of the economics, a 50 bps rate improvement on a $5M position pays back the Supersmooth Refinance Fee in roughly 2.4 months.
